Celebrate Autumn & Join Us at the Harvest Moon Carnivale on Main Street in Downtown Willits! Kick off Fall Festivities on Main Street in Downtown Willits (at Wood St. to E. Commercial St. to Humboldt St.) for a Fun & Free Family Event!

Games & Vendors of all types will be placed on Main Street at Wood Street to E. Commercial and around the bend to Humboldt Street! If your in town and looking for lodging, dining, shopping, EV charging locations, etc. head over to our tourist website for up-to-date information on Willits!

PIE EATING CONTEST DETAILS:

Do you love eating pumpkin pie? Do you think you can eat one faster than everyone else?
Then register to be a part of the 2025 Pie Eating Pie Contest to be held at Harvest Moon Celebration October 4, 2025, Downtown Willits, Registration is open. You can enter by calling the Willits Chamber of Commerce at (707) 459-7910 or online.
You must be 14+ years of age to enter. If you are age 14+ a parent must sign the waiver. 

Come and see if you’re the fastest. Where – Downtown Willits in front of the band stand. 10 names will be randomly drawn if more than 10 contestants enter.


RULES: To win this competition no hands may be used. Contestants must place their hands behind their backs while eating the pie. Contestants must not touch / eat any pie until the start signal is given. The first person to finish his/her pie will throw their hands in the air to end the contest and be declared the winner. Judges will decide if pie is actually finished before ending the contest. In the event of a tie, there will be a “Cool Whip Eat Off” between the contestants to find the winner of the contest. To participate complete the registration form and return it at the event.

**ALL WHO WILL BE SELLING PREPARED FOOD**

In compliance with the Mendocino County Health Department, we require ALL Food Vendors to provide their Food Vendor Permit Number to serve prepared foods at our events. Please click HERE to review full information and resources to assist you should you need.

NOTE: Vendors are strongly advised to apply for their food vendor permits early, thereby avoiding late penalties from the County of Mendocino.
