1. City of Willits Mission Statement

   The City of Willits is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe, pleasant environment within the community by providing effective delivery of public services. In the process of providing representative local government, the City identifies and anticipates concerns, problems and opportunities and takes action to address them. The City also provides a catalyst in the development and maintenance of a well-integrated community. 

   The City delivers critical public services in an efficient, professional and timely manner. The City is responsible for the preservation of community physical and aesthetic assets, and for the efficient management and equitable allocation of community fiscal resources. Essential to accomplishing the objectives outlined is the selection, training, motivation and retention of highly qualified men and women as City employees.
