About
The Willits Transfer Station and Recycling Center operates as a location for the deposit of municipal solid waste (garbage) as well as a number of other household and commercial materials that are recycled. When loads of mixed waste are received, they are sorted to the maximum extent feasible to extract recyclables and increase diversion from landfilling.
Main Facility - This station is open to the public (self-haul) and commercial haulers.
All loads of 10 cubic yards or more are weighed and charged by the ton. Discounts are available for separated clean loads of wood and green waste as well as segregated loads of construction and demolition material.
All fees may be paid by cash, debit card or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted).
